Dr. Wiseman has practiced in the Washington DC area for many years, including private practice in Silver Spring, MD, and part-time positions at Medical Faculty Associates of the GWU Ophthalmology department and with Low Vision Services, Bethesda , MD. 

 

  After graduating from University of Maryland, Dr. Wiseman worked in biotechnology for a few years. Curious about eyes and vision, she changed paths to attend Pennsylvania College of Optometry  (now Salus University), receiving her doctorate with clinical honors. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Maryland Optometric Association, District of Columbia Optometric Society and American Academy of Home Care Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry.  Dr. Wiseman is bilingual in Spanish and has a basic command of French.

 

  Providing mobile eye-care services has many advantages, Dr. Wiseman is very glad to offer this convenient and modern alternative to eye care delivery. 

 

  Dr. Wiseman keeps busy with her active family, cooking (especially dishes from her native country--Argentina), reading and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
